Rene Jules Lalique was born in AY, a small village in the Marne region of France on April 6, 1860, and died May 5, 1945. It makes use of two different types of vetiver: Bourbon vetiver which is warm, rich, and offers leathery accents and Haitian vetiver which is mysterious, smoky, and almost dirt-like.
